And the exciting news: after many months of running around the community and asking y'all about cameras... I finally ordered one yesterday!! It's going to be a Canon Rebel XSi =D Thank you all so much for your help picking a cam! (For the record, I was 110% prepared to get a XS, but Future Shop was having an incredible deal on the XSi that I just couldn't pass up, hehe. No more hauling for me for a loooong time x.x)

following up to the post below, the nc vs nw post, can someone give me some examples of nc/nw celebrities?
what i got from that post was something like
nicole kidman: nw because shes cool toned
miley cyrus: nc because she's warm toned
michelle trenchenbirg: nw
ashley tisdale: nc
correct me if im wrong!

Hey! I have a question for all you makeup experts. If your foundation is an NC does this mean that you are cool toned, and does NW mean you have warm toned skin? I always hear people talk about having cool-tones and I never could figure out what I had so I was wondering if this could answer that question.

Okay so I got matched with an NC 40 powder foundation during the summertime. I thought it photographed & looked fine on me... (I don't really apply foundation all over my face; just areas where I need coverage most.)


However I recently got tagged in a few facebook pictures & I looked HORRENDOUS in them.

The photos made me looked like I spent hours at a tanning salon. The areas where I applied NC 40 powder foundation turned out to look really uneven, nasty & dirty looking.

I really don't know what happened... I'm guessing because I got more fair during the winter? When I applied NC40 to my face that night it looked fine & seemed to blend well in the mirror... I don't know why it photographed so horribly. Anybody else have that problem with powder foundation during season changes?
